***Petunia is bonded with her brother, Pen, and they must be adopted together***

My name is Petunia and I am a calico domestic shorthair. I am a spayed female and I am 5 years and 3 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 05/08/2024 due to the fact they were moving and could not take us with. They are also expecting another baby, and when the last baby came along I was really scared and anxious, so they thought the same thing may happen with baby #2. So I would be a great companion for an empty nester or someone who does not plan to have children in the home. They were my family for 2 years. I am used to staying inside during the day and inside during the night. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I can be good with men, women, and children 10+ years old (children under that age are scary to them.) I have never been around a dog, so we don't know how me and my brother would do with a dog.

All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
