Cupcake will steal your heart when you are not looking. She is extremely shy at first, and takes time to trust new people. But if you take the extra time to get to know her, she will reward you ten times over. She's still easily spooked by new things - we don't think she had much exposure to much of anything in the past. So the sights and sounds (in particular) of the shelter are still a little intimidating. But once Cupcake gets a little comfortable, we can start to see glimpses of who she really is. She comes out of her shell a lot when playing with other dogs - she is very dog-friendly. Cupcake would love to go to a home with another dog to show her the ropes. And she hugs tight to people she trusts. Are you her person? She hopes so!
