Aren't you being a little discriminating? Pets are like fine wines; we improve with age.
When I think of all the silly things I did as a puppy, I just want to howl with embarrassment. The chewing of shoes and peeing on rugs. And some unfortunate incidents which I care not to discuss. Laugh my tail off.
Now I'm older and wiser. I may be a bit slower but I'm also smarter and calmer. I am ready to be you forever friend and couch mate, to share short walk and evenings in front of a warm fire.
I romp around sometimes like a puppy but not all the time. Believe me that is something you will appreciate at 3 in the morning.
So, go check out the puppies and kitten but when you are ready for a mature relationship come back and see me or one of the older cats (they paid me to say that ??)
