Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Dreamboat Timber is a sight to behold-- he's gorgeous, athletic, and kind of a goof! He is entertaining to watch when he plays with toys and has been described as being “good natured, silly, and a joy to be around" by his volunteer friends. Timber does well with being brushed and will lean into you when being pet. He’ll soak up all the love and affection you want to give him! He has been on many outings with volunteers and particularly loves the ones that involve playing in the water and snow. He rides well in the car, has nice leash manners and continuously checks-in with his person. He has many dog friends here at the shelter and has been a helper dog with puppies. Timber is looking for someone to share his life with-- could you be his perfect match? Five year old Timber weighs in at a nice 70 lb. If you would like to meet Timber, please visit https://humboldtgov.org/2658/Animal-Shelter and fill out an application to be pre-approved to make an appointment.

Here's what Timber's volunteer friends have to say about him:
"Timber is such a good-natured and silly boy. I love how happy he gets when I take him out for a walk! As soon as his leash is on, he's ready to be outside. Once outside he walks very politely, and checks in often for pets. The way he bounces to try to get me to play with him always makes me laugh. His joy at being out and about is the reason he's always the first dog I walk at the shelter!"
