Foster notes, 5/17/24:
Bear is a very sweet girl who loves playing with her house mates. She loves running outside and relaxing inside. She is the perfect mix of energy and laid back. Bear takes an interest in cats that I think is inappropriate; she will run them off and or provoke them when they come near her. Otherwise, she is great with people of all ages. She is very gentle with children and has a very nurturing personality. Bear was not house trained when we first took her in but it did not take her long to catch the drift of the other animals in the home going outside to use the bathroom. She does well staying inside all night in or out of a crate.

Bear has bad manners when it comes to getting in the trash and chewing on children toys. She will typically wait by the door if she has to use the bathroom and she prefers using the bathroom off leash (it's like she's nervous to use the bathroom close to anyone). She is a great yard dog but will try to roam if left outside by herself. She will come back when you call her name. She responds well to an electric fence as well but will chew the collar off. Bear does well in the house when left alone. She is crate trained very well and she is not a dog that has anxiety--she is relaxed in most situations. She does know how to sit for a treat. Bear is a great dog all around. She is the best cuddle buddy to have! She is gentle but also spunky when she wants to be. Her nickname is Pup-Pup and she'll probably do best if she has another dog to hang around.
