Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Introducing Redford, a true heart-stealer with his gorgeous eyes and silly personality. This affectionate 5-year old boy arrived as a stray from rural Yolo County and has since stolen the hearts of all his human friends from the shelter. This 60 lb cuddlebug loves playing outside and going on walks with his human companion. His ideal family would be one experienced with active breeds and able to give this fun-loving pup daily playtime. Are you ready to meet your new best friend? Come meet Redford!

Notes from his foster:

he is potty trained. No marking and no accidents
?
friendly with strangers
?
he doesn't have sep anxiety , was fine alone with no complaining
?
is crate trained

?likes walks

?seems good with all kinds of people and bicycles, skateboards, scooters

?wanted to chase a cat but was ok being redirected on walk instead

?likes other dogs

?thinks he is a lap dog

?plays like a husky, ?digs like a husky

?slurps faces given an opportunity

newly neutered

?not a talker,( even when everyone else was discussing days news)

?still needs work on “four on the floor” & counter surfing

?reasonable sit, and check-in…hard to practice anything else with everyone jostling for treats

?easy to walk on leash low pulling for a husky anyway
