Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Come meet one of our rockstar German Shepherds, Slash! Slash is about 7 years old but don't let his age fool you - he's still full of life and ready for adventures. He showed off his patient side during a recent brushing session, proving he's a true gentleman. He came to the shelter with his brother Axl, most likely from the same litter. Looking to start a band? Come meet them both! If you're looking for just one sweet, playful shepherd, Slash is your guy.

More notes on Slash from an afternoon outing:
Slash stood patiently while his harness and "Adopt Me" sash was put on.
He walked extremely well on leash.

Needed encouragement to get into the car the first time, better the second time, and much better the third time. Likely because each stop was fun - pet food store where he chose a bone, checked out the toys, and got kisses from patrons; Starbucks where he was admired as he lapped up a pup cup (cream); and the park where he was uninterested in the turkeys and smelled the flowers.

An absolute sweetheart, Slash would be a perfect companion! Who knows what his life was like before, but he was loved and is waiting to be loved again.
