Oak is affectionate and loves to lay on your feet. He is eager to please. He is generally good on a leash except when other dogs come by. He enjoys going to the dog park and is well behaved there. He becomes aggressive and nervous about food, always acting like he’s hungry even when fed. He’ll sometimes sneak into the garbage or pull something off the counter. When he knows he’s done something wrong, that’s when he becomes aggressive - barking, growling, snarling even when you’re calmly correcting him. It seems like he’s had a rough past and needs someone to take special time and effort to train and love him. I don’t have the knowledge or means to do that for him. When it says he’s bitten someone, I mean a nip, no skin broken.
