Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Franco is such a sweet and loving puppy! This 6 month old boy is going to grow a bit more, but is currently 38 pounds. He has a gentle disposition and loves to play too! Franco is awesome with other dogs and loves to play chase. Franco is ready to be your new best friend. Come and meet him in person during our adoption hours Tues-Sat from 1-4pm.

Franco had a field trip with one of our volunteers and this is what she had to say about Franco:
"I had such a great time with Franco today, and there were so many people who wanted to pet him. He was so well behaved for a young pup. He is cautious in new surroundings, but doesn't pull or bolt even with loud noises that concerned him. He would just stop and look around, then we would move on. He loves people and other dogs. He was most animated and happy when he met a female yellow lab who I was told also loved other dogs. We let them get to know each other, and then Franco wanted to play, which we didn't allow because of the possibility of tangled leashes. When I brought him back to the shelter, we played ball in the outside yard which he loved. He allowed me to take the ball out of his mouth without growling which is a great sign. When the garbage truck came, he didn't bark but he ran back and sat at my side. I honestly couldn't tell if he was guarding me or he wanted me to guard him, but it was adorable."
