"Hi there! My name is German. I am a large sized, senior fella looking for a furever home. I was surrendered to the shelter after my previous owners reported that I had become jealous of the new baby in the home and displayed some concerning behaviors whenever I was around the baby. Staff at the shelter have interacted with me many times and have not seen any concerning displays since intake. I came be timid at first with new people and situations, but with some patience I open up and enjoy gentle pets/long walks. I would do best in a home without children. Please ask staff if you have any questions about me." German walks on a leash, strongly at first but then settles in well. He is attentive to his handler, takes treats nicely and knows sit. When comfortable, he’ll actually lean in to be petted. With a little TLC German could be your couch potato guy. |
