Hey there, I'm Bear, the ultimate snuggle bug! I thrive on human contact and will happily flop onto you for endless cuddles. Although I enjoy relaxing on the couch, I also love going for walks and exploring the world around me. Eager to be your loyal companion and share many heartwarming moments together. Let's cuddle up and get to know each better!

The staff at the OHS call me a Socialite. Did you know that a Socialite's absolute favourite thing is hanging out with their people? They love being at the centre of attention and are excited to meet almost anyone. Socialites enjoy activities like joining in on family outings and going for leisurely walks, playing games like tug and fetch, and participating in training games! And while they might enjoy the occasional run or hike, they are usually content to stick around the neighbourhood. Most Socialites enjoy finishing off a day by settling down with a chew toy or puzzle feeder while you relax for the evening. So, if you like the company of a dog that will adore you and want to be involved in all of your activities, you'll have lots of fun with a Socialite!

I am looking for a single dog dog home!

I have some dental tartar on my teeth, and some associated gum inflammation. I will likely require a thorough oral health assessment and dental cleaning under general anesthesia within the next year.

I am a "Foster-Me-First" adoption. You can find more information about the Foster-Me-First Program at https://ottawahumane.ca/adopt/adoption-faq/#answer13 or call to speak to the adoption team.

If you are interested in setting up an appointment to adopt me, please email a completed adopter profile found at https://ottawahumane.ca/adopt/ to adoptions@ottawahumane.ca. Please be advised that although we do offer on-the-spot adoptions, this is dependent on appointment schedules and cannot be guaranteed.
