Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Buddy is a handsome senior gentleman who has made leaps and bounds since he first came to PACC. He was very shy when he first arrived, but these days he greets his volunteer friends right at the front of his kennel with a smile and a wagging tail! Here’s what his friends have said about him:

“I have been taking Buddy to the yard with his kennel mate 2-3 times a week and he has gone from having to be convinced to go out to to meeting me with a waggy tail. He is still wary of quick movements but even comes up for pets in the yard now. He has improved tremendously over the past few weeks!”

“I offered Buddy treats which he took nicely and he allowed me to leash him. He excited the kennel easily following his kennel mate. He walked well and once he was comfortable, he allowed me to pet his head.”

Buddy shares his kennel with a pal and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Buddy will thrive in a home that will take things slowly and allow him time to adjust. Please ask to meet Buddy today!!
