Layka is spry senior with tons of pep in her step and gas in the tank! She has the frostiest of faces and the biggest of hearts- she absolutely adores her human friends and couldn’t be sweeter. Here’s what volunteers have said about her:

“Layka is a very friendly, lively, and smart gal. When I first met her, I was surprised at how much energy she has and even more surprised at her willingness to demonstrate her tricks to me. She knows sit, stay, down and can give a shake with both front feet. She definitely loves being with people and aims to please. She's very food motivated and will do pretty much anything you ask of her for a treat, and she takes them gently. This sweet girl is fun, happy, a little bit goofy and a pleasure to spend time with.”
