Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
From Pinon's foster!

- Describe cuddling behavior/affection level: It took Pinon two days to warm up, but he hasn’t stopped purring since! He thinks scratches are fine, but prefers long gentle pets. If you’re lucky and find a good spot, he’ll lean into your hand and show off his velociraptor impression.

- Describe play behavior and favorite toys: his favorite toy is a Kong spiral with a feather on the end. He loves to play with it, but is also happy to chill close to you (preferably under your seat!)

- Describe activity level: moderate, for a young cat.

- Look into the animal’s eyes. What is he/she telling you? Piñon can’t believe his luck- all the pets, food, and space he could want.

- What are the best adjectives to describe them? Affectionate, nervous, sweet

- What does the animal specifically DO that exemplifies those adjectives.
Affectionate: now that we’re friends, he spends all his time rubbing against me & purring.
Nervous: he doesn’t like unexpected noises and will run to a safe place.
Sweet: he loves pets, and is a non-stop purr machine!

- What are your favorite things about him or her? Cute behaviors? He has just started to chirp a bit when he wants to talk. He also learned that humans have two hands, and simply insisted that they both be petting him.

- What is/are your favorite physical characteristic(s) of this animal? He has beautiful eyes - yellow ringed in teal- but even better markings!

- What would the ideal home look like for him/her? Pinon would do well in a home where the people are!
