Hi, I'm Rusty! I'm a very handsome boy with a pretty unique coloring. I was very nervous of humans when I first arrived at the shelter but I have warmed up to them and cuddles are life! I believe at some point I was a house dog. I'm very potty trained although we might have a period of adjustment for a few days so please be patient.I have recently spent some overnights with my human friend at the shelter and here is what he has discovered. I'm a pretty good boy on the couch, but seem to fall off it fairly often. I need more practice. I'm a pretty good walker with a gentle leader type leash attachment. I still need more leash training but will be a great walker partner. I enjoy nature walks especially by the water. Did I mention I really like affection too? When my human waters the garden I like to play with the water out of the hose and help. I've been told by the human friend who brings me to some overnights, I'm well behaved. I do get a little nervous at times. I do know sit, what else do you want to teach me? Im a good boy when it comes to bath time. I really do love my treats. My favorite mornings are spent in bed with my human while they drink their coffee planning our day. Are you ready for endless cuddles with my lovable face? To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
