MEET MIA

This sweet girl can be a little slow to warm up but once she does we think she'll be a bundle of joy! The best home for Mia would be a quiet adult only home with not a ton of visitors. Do you have what it takes to be Mia's one and only? Come find out at our Boston location!

Mia is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.

For more information on Mia or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. W... Click my picture to read more about me.

MEET Madeline! Would Love A Cat Friend!

Madeline was adopted but returned because she was too shy. She has had a bit of difficult time adjusting to life in the shelter with its sounds and smells. Madeline can often be found curled up in her bed but with some soft talk, she will open up for head and cheek pets with a back scratcher and, with time, gentle head pets with your hand. A friendly, feline friend in her new home would be a huge bonus for this sweet girl. Madeline has shared space with other low-key cats and they really helped... MEET CLEO!
*My adoption fee is waived*
Gives Kisses! Check out her fab videos!

VOTED 2024 CAT OF THE YEAR by ARL Volunteers and Staff

Cleo is undeniably gorgeous and joy to be around. She's a real character and everyone who meets her remarks on her wonderful curious and fun-loving personality. Perhaps Cleo also knows she's beautiful as she loves to strut around and be part of wherever the action is, often "posing" on just about any surface and sashaying around with her impressively floofy ta... MEET EEYORE! Lived With Other Cats. Needs Indoor Space To Roam! Check Out His Video!
FIV+

Did you ever have that one friend or little brother who was constantly saying, "What are you doing?" "Where are you going?" "Can I come?" Well, that's our boy, Eeyore. Eeyore loves everyone he meets, he just wants you around ALL THE TIME. This extremely vocal cat isn't shy about what he wants either. This intelligent guy will need lots of stimulation with interactive play, a large space to explore (small apartments could be challenging) a... Click my picture to read more about me.

MEET BUB!

Bub is a sweet and gentle guy looking for a quiet home where he can live as the only cat (at least for now). Bub likes gentle attention and pets on his super soft fur. He does get a little startled with noise but Bub adores sunning himself and looking out windows from his tall cat tree. Bub is an active guy and enjoys interactive play time with his favorite people but mostly, he is just chill. Bub greets visitors with a sweet little chirp and after a few pets likes nothing more than to plop onto his side and make air "biscu... Click my picture to read more about me.

MEET POPPY!
*I need a cat friend in my new home!
*I require 2 visits before I can go home!

Poppy is what we call a "tiny tiger" - born outside and frightened of people and our unfamiliar ways. Our staff and volunteers have been working hard to socialize Poppy, and they've made great progress. She still has a way to go, and we're happy to advise and support anyone who wants to add her to their family. Poppy would do best with an experienced cat owner who can give her time and space to adjust to her new surroundings and new people... Click my picture to read more about me.

MEET PEARL - Watch her video!

This lovely Pearl of a cat has been at the shelter for a while. Before coming to Dedham, Pearl spent most of her time alone in an attic space, where her collar became painfully embedded in her neck. Since she has had limited interaction with people, she is understandably shy. Our vet team addressed her injury and she has healed up nicely. She even spent some time in a caring foster home. Her foster mom noted that she did really well in her home and “even played with a string toy and licked Churu off her ... Click my picture to read more about me.

MEET CRAISIN!
*I need a cat friend in my new home!

Do you like craisins, the tasty combination of cranberry and raisin? Named after the yummy treat, our feline Craisin is looking for a new home with another friendly, outgoing cat. Coming from a home with lots of other cats, Craisin has spent her whole life with other kitties, but she's had limited exposure to people. Since she's still getting the hang of her new situation and has a lot to learn about us humans, we think a quiet home with a resident cat will be the best fit for Crais... MEET RILEY!
*I need a cat friend in my new home!
* Check Out Her Videos!

This pretty girl came to us from a home with a number of other cats, so she speaks fluent feline. Meeting new people is scary to Riley, but she does well when she's approached slowly (and treats help, too!). Riley has been acclimating to her new space in our Dedham Colony Room; when it's quiet she can be seen perched on her cat tree, where she's enjoyed pets and play time (watch her videos!). We'd like to see Riley join a home with a social cat so she ca... Click my picture to read more about me.
