Meet Butch, a 5 year old boy who is has been waiting patiently to get adopted. The only thing he requires is some balls and toys. Butch LOVES balls and toys, so make sure you have an ample supply! Butch is a really nice, friendly boy who likes people (children included!), but would probably do best as the only four-legged member of the family. Dog Day Out, 5/17/24:
We took Davis out for a walk and a relaxing break away from the shelter exploring new surroundings. Davis is the most perfect dog ever. He is so sweet and easy going and loves meeting new people.

This smiling boy is Chicken Noodle, a scrumptious soft brown morsel of yumminess who is waiting for his new person to scoop him up. This young man is around 1-1/2 years old and is super friendly, happy, and always a pleasure to be around. He was found as a stray several months ago and was fostered by the finder until recently. Just like his name, Chicken Noodle would love to share a daily dose of warm, cozy comfort, love, and smiles with his new person or family!

Handsome Bambino came to us as a stray in mid June and has been a great BAS resident. He's almost 2 years old and is a happy boy (especially when a pool is involved!).

I have played with Bambino several times now and my conclusion is that his behavior is very consistent, and he warms up steadily over time. Each time I have played with him we've understood each other better. Meet Sherman! This guy is one big hunk of burning love. This big boy may look tough, but inside he's all sugar. Sherman is bursting with love and cannot wait to show everyone! He is bold and confident and LOVES meeting new people! He is super sweet and affectionate and has the best cuddles. He is currently in a foster home, and his foster mom says that he is house trained, non-destructive (always a plus!), and super laid back (he spends most of his day sleeping!). Today we learned that Baxter loves to chase balls, but his idea of playing fetch is to touch the ball with his nose and run back. He is sweet, friendly, goofy, and hilarious. He loves treats!
