Gladdis is well mannered. She is a beautiful dog with the most expressive eyes. She loves long walks, easy jogs, neighbors and their treats, bathing in the sun, rolling in freshly mowed grass... While on a leash, Gladdis has met children that were reminded that dogs need slow introductions and have their own space around them. She met passive and playful dogs while on a leash. Foster notes, 2/21/24:
Ellie is a sweet senior girl. She’s is extremely friendly with people, dogs, and other animals, and is very gentle with everyone. She has some broken teeth which makes it hard for her to chew at times, so we water down her food for her. She’s completely potty trained and doesn’t bark or chew or destroy anything. She enjoys meeting new people,is cuddly and affectionate, and walks well on leash.

This autumn beauty is Bella, and it's the perfect name for her! What a sweet face! She is 4 years old and according to her foster mom, she is an absolute cuddle bug who LOVES people. She is housetrained, walks well on leash, and is a fantastic girl. Her only negative is that she can be reactive towards other dogs, so she will be happiest and most successful as the only dog in the home. Tiny is quick to make friends with any humans; she loves pets and cuddles. She thrives when she can spend time outdoors and can be in a yard unsupervised. She enjoys 1-3 mile walks daily. She is very alert around other dogs and can be guarded. If going to a home with another dog, a proper introduction is necessary. She is housetrained. She gets a little sad when left home alone but has no destructive behaviors. She knows "sit" and "heel".

This snow white girl with the cutest polka dot ears is Mona Lisa. She is an older girl at around 8 or 9 years old, and was surrendered for landlord issues, so no fault of her own. This sweet girl is spunky, friendly, enjoys attention, and loves running and jumping freely in our fenced yard and playing with toys. She is housetrained, good with kids, and does okay with male dogs. During intake, it was noted that Mona Lisa is a bit lumpy. This pretty snowy girl is named Lady and she is 2 years old. She was surrendered for no fault of her own and is hoping for better luck in a new home. She came in with some skin issues due to fleas but is on some good medicine that should have her looking even more beautiful in no time! Lady is a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved and included in her person or family's life. She would love to meet you here at BAS and she promises to be your loyal and faithful best friend!
