She was surrendered for absolutely no fault of her own, but she doesn't let that get her down. She knows better days are ahead. Baby prances and bounces around in our play yard, chasing toys and enjoying the fresh outdoor air. She is all about sharing her sugar and sneaking in some snuggles with whoever is in her company. Dog Day Out, 4/22/24:
I took Hendrix to Red Slide Park, City Park, and the Arboretum. He is very strong and curious, and pulls a lot, so he needs a little leash training. He loves to run! Hendrix is a sweet boy who likes to run zoomies and give lots of kisses! Eventually, he sat perfectly while I drove. He didn’t really seem to notice the cats or squirrels at the park. He was always interested in saying hi to every person he saw and is quite friendly. He was not vocal, and was very interested in going in the water! Such a good boy!

Zoom, zoom! Nova LOVES to show off her speedy zoomies and play keep away! This little girl is not quite 2 years old, so she is young and spirited. Nova came to us from another shelter to see if she might have better luck finding her forever home here. We sure hope so because this sweetie has spent too much of her young life in a shelter, and it's not the most ideal place for her--way too much stimulation. Foster notes, 4/20/24:
Levi is the sweetest boy. He loves the be on top of you, and give you kisses. He has so much energy but can also just lay and sleep with you all day. He barks at other dogs but I think he just wants to play. I haven’t had him around other dogs so I cannot say if he likes them or not. He is not quite house trained, yet. He slept in a crate perfectly fine and walks on the leash pretty well. He does pull but if you redirect him he will follow.
